Yummy! Benefitted from some breathing room. Big Rhone aromas and flavors. Layered scents of dried cherries, herbs, leather, and cigar box. Very round in the mouth with big fruit — blackberries, plum with skins, and currants. A bit spicy in the middle, with mushrooms and soil flavors at the end. Very broad texture with a big, earthy finish. Tannins are firm and round. This is a keeper.
